Avoid Inappropriate Communication

All workers, whether part of management or not, are responsible for proper communication and for nipping rumors in the bud. Try these suggestions for dealing with or avoiding inappropriate communication:

--Ask management to share information about changes freely and promptly.
--Talk face-to-face when possible to avoid misinterpretations of phone messages, e-mail, or written memos.
--Arrange for a meeting as soon as you become aware that incorrect information is circulating so questions can be asked and answered with everyone present.

They are sufficient points. Misunderstanding are much more likely to occur when not face-to-face with someone. So face-to-face is a good route to be taken. It is always good to stay on top of your game regarding misinformed or incorrect information.
